You can use the @ symbol for truncation to expand your search, for example:

smith w@ will find Wilbur Smith or Wendy Smith
coalmin@ will find coalmining, coalmines and coalminers
@ology will find histology, biology and psychology

You may get more results by using fewer words in your search EG just an author's last name
